Transcendental Meditation™ (TM) isn’t about concentrating or trying to empty your mind.
It’s about letting your awareness naturally settle—beyond thoughts, beyond effort—into a deep state of inner stillness.
The key? A mantra.
In traditional TM, each practitioner is given a personal mantra—a sound without meaning—carefully selected by a trained teacher. This mantra is silently repeated, gently and effortlessly, allowing the mind to transcend surface activity and access a calm, expanded state of awareness. It’s practiced for 15–20 minutes, twice a day, and has been shown to shift brain patterns, reduce stress, and increase clarity.
Inspired by this powerful method, I’ve created a TM-Style Mantra Meditation—not a replacement for traditional TM, but a gentle invitation into a similar state of stillness.
