Today I am joined by Luke Di Somma. Since his childhood, Luke has always had a profound interest in music and theatre. Whether it’s playing the flute as a young lad or inspiring people at his theatre school more recently, his passion for the arts is unmistakeable. Luke joins the podcast to talk about his profound experience at Tisch School of the Arts in New York City. We find out the lightbulb moment that kickstarted the process of creating a rock musical about NZ icon Kate Shepherd. And of course, Luke details the series of events that led to some of the biggest names on Broadway, coming to Christchurch to teach at Luke’s theatre school, CIMTSS. So wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, enjoy a conversation with Luke on Broadway… and Other Kiwi Dreams.
