The Rev. Benji Davis of Christ Church, Winston Salem, NC
Fr. Benji began his career as a firefighter with aspirations of cattle ranching before becoming a committed Christian. After transitioning to vocational ministry, he studied biblical languages and theology, with a focus on the Old Testament. He and his wife, Ashley, moved to Winston-Salem in July 2020, becoming a curate at Christ Church under the mentorship of Fr. Ben Sharpe. In January 2023, he became the second Rector of Christ Church. Benji and Ashley have three young children, Matthias, Theodora, and Luke.
