On today's hike, we explore a small portion of the Green Timbers trail within Michigan's Pigeon River State Forest! The snow did add some additional difficulty on this hike, but the snowy forest vistas are worth it! The Pigeon River State Forest is known as Michigan's "Big Wild" and is home to the largest Elk population east of the Mississippi River.
