On today’s episode, we are joined by one of the Senior Pastor’s at Opendoor Church, Aaron Kennedy. His wife, Lauren, also serves as the other Senior Pastor of the church. I have had the pleasure of attending Opendoor throughout my time at East Carolina and it has been a life changing church to attend.
This episode was Spirit led, as we talked a lot on his verse of the week from John chapter 21. His specific verse of the week was John 21:15 that reads
“When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, ‘Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?’ He said to him, ‘Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.’ He said to him, ‘Feed my lambs.’”
A good reminder for us as Believers, there cannot be a love greater than our love for Him! Romans 8:38-39 says this “And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
