There is a saying going around now that says..."I would rather be known for what I am for than for what I am against." That sounds pretty good. It sounds reasonable. It is meant to help people stay on the positive side of life and not the negative. The truth is much more nuanced. This is a statement to get people to shut up and go along with whatever the popular narrative of the moment is. If I am for something than I am against its opposite. While we should not always be argumentative, we should be standing up for the truth and for what is right. I am for good and not for evil. We believe that there is right and that there is wrong. There is a correct way and there is a wrong way. We know that Jesus is the only way. HE says - "I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE. NO ONE comes to the Father, except through me.
