One of the most significant men in history is the earthy father of Jesus. We really don't know much about him except the few verses dedicated to the birth of Jesus. We know that he was a just man, a kind man and a hardworking man. We know that he was a thoughtful man and a person of obedience. There is a great deal that we can learn from him. One of the things that sticks out is how tender that he was with Mary after she shared with him that she was expecting a child of the Holy Spirit. Until Gabriel showed up and explained God's plan, he must have been heart broken. The thought of a virgin birth would be a hard pill to swallow in the natural order of things. Yet, he received the supernatural visitation of the angel and dared to be a part of God's plan not only for his life but for all of mankind. This podcast will be an encouragement for the Christmas season and will challenge us towards greater faith as we learn from the life of Joseph.
