Three-time world champion Mark Williams took his break mid-match when he fell asleep during a prestigious tournament. Returning after a bout of coronavirus, Williams, 46, was leading 3-2 at the UK Championships when he sat down and let his opponent Anthony Hamilton play. “My head went down and I woke up. I didn’t have a clue where I was,” said Williams, ranked eighth in the world. Footage of Williams snoozing, cue in hand, has done the rounds on social media since he, unsurprisingly, lost on Sunday night.
