Hear me out, there are so many things that took me a long time to figure out, that I am happy about. For example, I'm proud that I didn't fully find out what I wanted to do with my life until I was 30. I'm also glad that I've had as many failures as I've had successes because what I've gotten out of all of that are lessons. But there are some things that I wish I would have gotten right the first time or around or at least I wish I knew about earlier. It would have saved me a lot of heartache if I just avoided things like dieting on and off or being frustrated with myself for not having it together. But guess what, everything I've learnt, I want to pass on and share with you!
In today’s solo episode, I am talking about all the advice that has helped me become a healthier and happier person that I wish I knew sooner. I talk about how growing up I felt I needed to filter my joy through a lens of happiness, why success comes from personal practices and routine, and finally I share some habits that have worked for me that can serve you.
In this episode, we cover:
- You already have it together babe and there’s no destination you need to reach [2:35]
- Filtering my decisions through a lens of sacrifice in order to be happy [9:22]
- Success comes from routine and focus not weight loss [15:21]
- Consistency helps with habits and appreciation for where you are right this second [21:11]
- Steps for connecting and centering yourself [28:55]
- The least helpful thing is shaming yourself [32:40]
- Making habits easier to incorporate [36:54]
