Description

Joel Carter continues our series on the book of Philippians covering verses seven through 11 of chapter three. In this section, Joel uses the example of the Baton Twirler to exemplify the effort we should put forth and feel when truly desiring to KNOW God more. Joel discusses how this, in a sense, lines up with Paul and how Paul desired more to the point of counting all past accomplishments as rubbish and prioritizing Christ over comfort. When it comes to KNOWING God, are you like the Baton Twirler in tears when she finally won the state fair after putting in hours of practice to accomplish this goal? So... what do your hours go toward; what has surpassing value to you? Are you putting in time and effort to truly KNOW Him?
