Today on the show we're talking about that common phrase known as "Thoughts and Prayers." How does that relate to mental health? Well, simply, it's a coping mechanism. There are difficult things that go on in the world and we need ways to move forward. But I also understand the cynicism behind it. It can feel like a blanket statement that absolves someone of personal responsibility. From all angles, we can do better and that's why we're here.
