Justin’s childhood was filled with drugs, anger, and violence. He spent 18 years, ages 12 to 30, in juvenile detention and eventually state prison. In prison he joined a gang and the life of violence, drugs, and anger continued. Once he got out the birth of his son changed something in him, but he was still in and out of jail. The addiction to meth continued, and things got much worse when he tried fentanyl and became immediately addicted. From there his life went into a death spiral. He tried twice to take his own life but his wife saved him. After having a profound vision while being dead for 4 and a half minutes, he wanted to live again but still struggled. One day he found himself on his knees begging God for help, and his life has never been the same since. Justin’s story is an amazing testimony of God’s love for us.
