HAPPY 4/20 * HAPPY EASTER * FELIZ ESPASQUAZ *

I have been waiting (quite impatiently) for this episode for many moons. This is the Blacc Kristoff Take Over. For those of y’all who are not familiar with these gentlemen, Blacc Kristoff is a rap group and collective from Chicago, Illinois. Shout out Nate Marshal for introducing us a few winters passed.

We open the episode with a very special announcement *** drum roll please *** that starting today I am going to be dropping a brand new song every fucking week for the next six months. The songs will premiere on The Chris Gabo Show and then make their way to DSPs in staggered fashion.

Apropos of the geographical lineage of our esteemed guests, the joint we premiered this week is Analisa and I's first ever collaboration "Soda In The Midwest" produced by Richie Beretta and mastered by Dave Kutch.

After that we get into an incredible conversation with The Blacc Kristoff bois (find them on IG @blacckristoff.) The group includes, Shaun Peace, sean2gs, and Super DaKario. They are joined on the blue couch by their affiliates, producer Polaco, and rapper Gordon SKL.

(Which by the way, y'all gotta tap in with Gordon SKL as a solo artist. Go check out his joint "Interjection" which has a feature from Shaun Peace. It's insane.)

Also if you're just getting into Blacc Kristoff, check out "Steady Mobbin" on DSPs. This is a full circle moment cuz I played "Steady Mobbin" as that joint on The Chris Gabo New Music Segment on my first episode in the old format.

These guys are some of my favorite musicians who not only expemplify greatness on the emcee tip, the song writing tip, and the producer tip, but they also just…how do I put this?

If you study the way they get down, lessons abound about friendship and collaboration.

Episode 22 of The Chris Gabo Show is on some real, each-one-teach-one shit so I hope you each...one....get........taught? Idk man. I'm barely awake.

But for real, this is some elevate each other to your highest purpose shit.

And finally, after a strong sixty minutes of inspirational and hilarious ass hip hop reading rainbow type shit, we end the episode with an iconic β€œProving Ground" segment where reigning Chris Gabo Show Proving Groung Champion Dave Harris and the big homie Josh The Word Smith join us for a climactic bout of jousting which ended in an off air cook session that lasted till legit six in the morning word to ICE-T.

Inshallah you motherfuckers enjoy this episode one one HUNDREDTH as much as we did.

And with that, I'll leave you to it.

Like and subscribe goddamnit!!!!!!
