HOW DO I STAY CONSISTENT WITH MY WORKOUTS?

To be honest…. I don’t even think about it. ITS HARDER for me not to do my workouts than to do them. BUT that is 5 years in.

I was spending $50 a month at a gym where the elliptical and 10 minutes on the lifting machines weren’t working…hmmmm surprise.

Not to mention I was a full time unpaid intern, full time student, while living at a random house with strangers I met on craigslist because I was 1000 miles away from home….

I would rush to work bc I had zero morning routine (aka hitting snooze x10) then work from 9-5 and go to the gym from 530-630 and then drive home, cook dinner, do homework & internship work, binge greys anatomy…and then start all over again. I was sick of not seeing results, but also not knowing what the hell I was doing..

I was skeptical about at home workouts but I knew I needed to try something different to see different results.

In 2015 I decided that instead of renewing my membership for another month and saying “this time it’ll be different”, I signed up for these at-home workouts, with zero confidence, zero knowledge in nutrition, zero equipment and zero clue of what I was getting myself into.

5 YEARS in, consistent with my workouts ever since I started. HOLY SHIT. I never thought that was possible I was the yo-yo workout girl in college and now I AM THE committed, driven, enthusiastic girl who has stayed committed to her workout routine for 5 years straight. 5 FREAKIN YEARS!

So you can say “at-home workouts don’t work”, or that “this year will be different” but at the end of the day, nothing changes unless YOU change and nothing works unless YOU work FOR IT. Day in, day out.

A year from now you can either be grateful you started today, or wish you would have.
