Today, I Wanna Be Like Mary Six! Mary Six has been tapping since she was 2 years old. Her vast career includes being a Rockette for 13 years, serving as a dance captain for The Rockettes as well. While with The Rockettes, she got to star alongside Chita Rivera in Can Can on tour in Japan. She also tapped alongside Harold Nicholas at the London Palladium in My One and Only! She went on to teach Tap at The Juilliard School as well as Wagner College. Currently, she teaches private and public tap classes at Bridge For Dance. She also runs a Tap company titled Tap on Tap where she practices her own Tap method, Hands Down for those unable to tap traditionally to be able to perform Tap with their hands.
