She’s originated musicals on and off Nroadway such as Lucky Stiff, A New Brain, Xanadu, Barnum and The Rink. Most recently, she was seen on the Broadway stage in 2019 as Aunt Eller in Oklahoma (which earned her a Tony Award nomination) as well as off Broadway in The Gardens of Anuncia. Her relationship with Michael John LaChuisa and William Finn has become a huge part of her career originating shows like In Trousers, Marie: Christine, First Daughter’s Suite and The Queen of the Mist! She also starred in The Rink where she understudied Angel, the role originated by Liza Minnelli.
