“Whoever despises his neighbor is a sinner, but blessed is he who is generous to the poor.” — Proverbs 14:21
“Yet you have crushed us in the place of jackals and covered us with the shadow of death. If we had forgotten the name of our God or spread out our hands to a foreign god, would not God discover this? For he knows the secrets of the heart.” — Psalm 44:19–21
“He will render to each one according to his works... For God shows no partiality.” — Romans 2:6,11

Have you ever felt like you were doing the right thing, but no one noticed? Maybe you stood up for someone being bullied, gave up your spot so someone else could go first, or just chose kindness when no one else did. It can feel frustrating when your efforts seem invisible. But the Bible reminds us—God sees everything, even what’s hidden.
Proverbs 14:21 tells us that kindness and generosity matter to God. Psalm 44 reminds us that God knows the secrets of our hearts. And in Romans 2, we’re told that God will reward each person according to what they’ve done—not based on popularity or how loud our good deeds are, but based on what’s real in our lives.

THINK ABOUT IT
1. Your Actions Matter: Even small acts of kindness reflect God's heart. Are there ways you can show generosity or love today, even if no one else sees?
2. God Knows the Heart: Sometimes we can fool others—or even ourselves—but not God. What’s something in your heart that you need to be honest with God about?
3. God Is Fair: Romans reminds us that God doesn’t play favorites. How does knowing God is just and impartial encourage you when things seem unfair?

BOTTOM LINE
God sees your heart, your choices, and your quiet faithfulness—even when no one else does. Keep living for Him, knowing His reward is better than any applause this world can give.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for seeing me and knowing me completely. Help me to live with integrity, to show love and generosity, and to trust that You will honor the good I do in Your name—even when no one else notices. Search my heart, and shape it to reflect You more. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
