“A false witness will perish, but the word of a man who hears will endure. A wicked man puts on a bold face, but the upright gives thought to his ways.” — Proverbs 21:28–29
“Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts, as at Meribah...” — Psalm 95:7b–8
“Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” — Hebrews 13:16

Let’s be real—there’s a big difference between looking faithful and actually living it out. In Proverbs 21, we see that people can fake it with a bold front, but only those who truly listen and reflect will last.
Psalm 95 warns us not to harden our hearts when God is speaking, and Hebrews 13 reminds us that our actions—doing good, sharing, living sacrificially—are what please God. Together, these verses paint a picture of what real faith looks like. It’s not about pretending to be “perfect” or religious—it’s about listening to God, staying humble, and loving others in real, visible ways.

THINK ABOUT IT
1. Real Faith Listens: Are you someone who actually hears God’s voice and lets it change you, or do you just go through the motions?
2. Hearts Matter: Psalm 95 reminds us that hard hearts block God’s voice. What things might be hardening your heart—pride, distraction, fear?
3. Faith in Action: Hebrews 13:16 is super clear—doing good and sharing is part of worship. What’s one way you can live out your faith today?

BOTTOM LINE
God wants faith that’s real—not just words, but hearts that listen and lives that love. When we stay soft to His voice and step out to care for others, we reflect who He really is.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, help me to be someone who really listens to You—not just someone who acts like I’ve got it all together. Keep my heart soft, even when it’s easier to shut You out. Show me where I can do good and love others like You’ve loved me. I want a faith that’s real, not fake. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
