“Incline your ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply your heart to my knowledge, for it will be pleasant if you keep them within you, if all of them are ready on your lips.” — Proverbs 22:17-18
“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!” — Psalm 100:1-2
“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” — 3 John 1:4

There’s something powerful about receiving wisdom and living it out. Proverbs reminds us to listen to the wise, apply what we learn, and keep it close to our hearts. When we do this, we find joy and peace. Psalm 100 calls us to bring our praise to God, not out of obligation, but out of the joy of knowing Him. 2 and 3 John are letters written to believers, encouraging them to walk in truth and show love to others. John even says that his greatest joy is seeing others walk in the truth, which is something that God loves as well.
The common theme here is joy—joy in truth, in wisdom, and in our relationship with God. But living this way requires some action: listening, choosing to live out what we know, and encouraging others to do the same.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your wisdom and truth. Help me to listen to Your Word, apply it to my life, and serve You with gladness. Fill my heart with joy as I walk in Your truth and encourage others to do the same. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
