“The violence of the wicked will sweep them away, because they refuse to do what is just. The way of the guilty is crooked, but the conduct of the pure is upright.” — Proverbs 21:7–8

“Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before you.” — Psalm 89:14

“Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” — 1 Timothy 4:12

Do you ever feel like the world is rewarding the wrong people? Maybe the ones who lie, cheat, or play dirty seem to get ahead. It’s easy to wonder, “Does doing the right thing even matter?” But God's Word gives us a strong reminder today: God sees the difference between the fake and the faithful. In Proverbs 21, we’re told the wicked will fall because they refuse justice. Psalm 89 tells us God’s throne is built on righteousness and love.

And in 1 Timothy 4, Paul encourages a young Timothy—and you—to rise above low expectations and live in a way that reflects God’s truth. God isn’t impressed by empty actions or appearances. He’s looking for real hearts, faithful steps, and lives shaped by His Spirit.

THINK ABOUT IT

1. What Does “Real” Faith Look Like? It’s not about being perfect. It’s about being consistent—loving well, choosing truth, and letting your life speak louder than your words.

2. Your Life is an Example: Even as a teen, you’re a leader. What you say, how you treat people, and the choices you make show others what you believe. Don’t underestimate your influence.

3. God’s Standard is Steady: While the world may celebrate the wrong things, God stays the same. Righteousness, love, and faithfulness are still what He values.

BOTTOM LINE

God isn’t calling you to be popular—He’s calling you to be faithful. You don’t have to wait to be older to live for Him. Start now. Be the real deal.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, Thank You for reminding me that faithfulness matters, even when it feels unnoticed. Help me live with integrity—in what I say, how I act, and how I treat others. I want to set an example that points people to You. Keep me grounded in Your love and truth, no matter what others are doing. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
