“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.” — Psalm 91:1

Some days, it’s tough to live out your faith—especially when it feels like no one else cares or notices. You might see others doing wrong and getting rewarded, or people ignoring the needs around them. It can feel tempting to blend in or give up.
But Proverbs 21:13 reminds us that how we treat others, especially the hurting, matters deeply to God. Psalm 91 reassures us that when we stick close to God—even when no one sees—He is our refuge. And 2 Timothy 3–4 tells us to stay grounded in the truth, no matter how hard life gets, because we’re not living to impress people but to be faithful to God.

THINK ABOUT IT
1. How do you respond to people in need? Do you notice the cries of others—friends who are struggling, classmates who are lonely, or people who are hurting? God calls us to listen and act with compassion.
2. Where’s your shelter? When life feels overwhelming or you’re facing pressure to compromise your faith, are you turning to God for strength and peace, or trying to handle it alone?
3. Stay rooted in truth: Paul tells Timothy that living for Jesus won’t always be easy. But when you stick with what you’ve learned from God’s Word, He gives you the strength to stand firm—even when it’s hard.

BOTTOM LINE
Even when no one is watching, God sees your faithfulness. Stay close to Him, care for others, and hold on to His truth—because living for Him is always worth it.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, Help me to care deeply for others, even when it’s inconvenient or unnoticed. Teach me to listen when someone’s hurting and to be a source of Your love in their life. When life gets tough or I feel alone in my faith, remind me that I’m never alone with You. Help me stay rooted in Your Word and stand strong for what’s right. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
