“Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” — Proverbs 31:30
“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar... and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.” — 2 Peter 3:10
“Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready.” — Revelation 19:7

Have you ever tried to get ready in the dark? Maybe your power went out, or it was early and you didn’t want to wake anyone up. It’s frustrating, right? You can’t see clearly, you make mistakes, and things feel uncertain. Spiritually speaking, we’re living in a world that feels a lot like darkness. But God calls us to get ready anyway—not with perfect hair or the latest trends, but with hearts that are full of love for Him.
In Proverbs 31, we see a picture of someone who is valuable not because of appearance, but because she fears the Lord. In 2 Peter 3, we’re reminded that this world won’t last forever. And in Revelation 19, we see the celebration that’s coming when Jesus returns for His Bride—the Church. That’s us. Are we getting ready?

THINK ABOUT IT
1. What Really Matters: The Proverbs 31 woman isn’t praised for her looks or popularity—she’s praised for her character and faith. What are you focusing on in your daily life? Is it helping you grow in your relationship with God?
2. Live with Purpose: 2 Peter 3 tells us everything in this world will eventually fade. So how should that change the way you live right now? Are you building your life on things that last?
3. Ready for the Party? Revelation 19 talks about a great wedding feast for Jesus and His people. Imagine the biggest celebration ever—and it’s for you if you’re part of His Church. Are you living like someone invited to that celebration?

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me that real beauty comes from knowing and following You. Help me not to get distracted by things that won’t last, but to live with purpose and hope. Teach me to be ready, full of love, and walking in Your light—even when the world feels dark. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
