“Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise in the assembly of the godly!” — Psalms 149:1
“Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.” — 1 John 3:2–3
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” — Romans 12:2

Ever feel like you don’t quite fit in—or that you're constantly trying to live up to other people’s expectations? Whether it's pressure from social media, school, or even your own fears, it’s easy to feel like you're supposed to mold yourself into someone you're not. But here's the truth: 1 John 3:2 tells us we are already God's children, and there's more—God is shaping us to be like Jesus!
That process isn’t about pretending to be someone else. It’s about transformation, the kind that begins deep inside your heart and mind (Romans 12:2). And as we’re transformed, we’re invited to praise, not just with songs but with lives that reflect His goodness (Psalms 149:1). You’re not stuck being who the world says you are. You’re becoming who God made you to be.

THINK ABOUT IT
1. Who Are You Becoming? When you think about your future, do you picture someone shaped by God’s truth—or by the trends around you? Ask God to show you who He sees when He looks at you.
2. Worship as a Lifestyle: Psalm 149 talks about praising God in the assembly, but what if your everyday choices were worship too? How can you reflect God's love in how you live, think, and treat others?
3. Don’t Conform, Transform: The world shouts a lot about what you should look like, want, and chase. But God calls you to a different path—one that transforms your mind and heart. What’s one way you can renew your mind this week?

BOTTOM LINE
God isn’t asking you to be perfect—He’s inviting you to be transformed. As His child, you are becoming more like Jesus, not by trying harder, but by letting Him renew your heart, mind, and life.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me Your child and loving me as I am. Help me not to be shaped by the world around me, but by Your truth. I want to worship You with my life, not just my words. Keep transforming me so I can live in a way that reflects who You are. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
