Life is full of choices—what to say, who to hang out with, how to react when things go sideways. Sometimes doing the right thing feels like the hard thing, and trusting God can seem risky when you can’t see the outcome. But today’s verses remind us that the way of the Lord isn’t just right—it’s safe. Proverbs 10:29 says it’s a stronghold, a place of strength and protection.
Psalm 20 reminds us that while others trust in their own power, we put our hope in God’s name. And in Acts 18, God personally encourages Paul to keep going, promising, “I am with you.” Whether you’re speaking up for your faith or walking through something tough, you’re not alone.

THINK ABOUT IT
1. God’s way is a stronghold: What does it mean for God’s path to be a “stronghold”? How might following Him give you strength in situations where you feel weak or uncertain?
2. Where is your trust? It’s easy to trust in what we can see—grades, talents, popularity. But what does it look like to trust in God’s name instead?
3. Boldness comes from presence: God told Paul not to be afraid because He was with him. Are there areas in your life where fear is holding you back from being who God’s called you to be?

BOTTOM LINE
Choosing to follow God's way may not always be easy, but it leads to strength, security, and purpose—because God walks with you every step of the way.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for being a stronghold I can trust. Help me to choose Your way, even when it's hard or I feel afraid. Remind me that You are always with me, just like You were with Paul. Give me boldness to live for You and confidence that Your way is the best way. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
