“Treasures gained by wickedness do not profit, but righteousness delivers from death.” — Proverbs 10:2
“You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” — Psalm 16:11
“And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” — Acts 2:21

We live in a world where everyone’s chasing something—money, likes, popularity, success. It’s easy to feel like we need to do whatever it takes to get ahead. But Proverbs 10:2 warns that even if we “win” by doing the wrong thing, it won’t be worth it. Real life—the kind that fills you with joy and lasts forever—comes from God, not from shortcuts or sketchy choices.
Psalm 16 reminds us that God's presence is where true happiness is found. And Acts 2 delivers the best news of all: no matter where we’ve been or what we’ve done, calling on Jesus brings salvation. That’s a promise worth holding onto.

THINK ABOUT IT
1. What Are You Chasing? Are you trying to find your worth in things that won’t last—like popularity or possessions? Proverbs 10:2 challenges us to think about what really matters and what actually leads to life.
2. Where’s Your Joy Coming From? Psalm 16 says fullness of joy is found in God's presence. If you’re feeling empty or lost, maybe it’s time to check your spiritual GPS. Are you looking to God or to stuff that fades?
3. Have You Called on Jesus? Acts 2:21 is clear—everyone who calls on the Lord will be saved. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about reaching out. If you’ve never done that, today could be the day.

BOTTOM LINE
A life built on God is a life that lasts. Joy, purpose, and salvation don’t come from chasing the world—they come from walking with Jesus.
