“My son, do not lose sight of these—keep sound wisdom and discretion, and they will be life for your soul and adornment for your neck. Then you will walk on your way securely, and your foot will not stumble.” — Proverbs 3:21–23
“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” — Matthew 7:24

Life can feel like a whirlwind sometimes — school pressure, friendships changing, making big decisions about your future. You might feel unsure, like you’re walking through a fog. But God doesn’t want you to live in fear or confusion.
In Proverbs 3, He promises that if you hold tightly to wisdom and discretion, you’ll walk securely, without stumbling. And in Matthew 7, Jesus gives us a visual: build your life on His teachings and you’ll be unshakable, like a house on solid rock—even when storms come.

THINK ABOUT IT
1. Build on the Rock: What are you building your life on right now—God’s truth, or opinions, trends, or feelings? Only God’s Word gives a strong enough foundation to withstand life’s ups and downs.
2. Wisdom is Protection: Proverbs reminds us that wisdom isn’t just smart thinking—it’s a spiritual safeguard. Are you spending time in Scripture, seeking God’s perspective when you make decisions?
3. Don’t Panic in the Storm: Life’s storms will come—stress, change, conflict. But Jesus says the wise builder doesn’t panic because their foundation is firm. How can you practice trusting God in small challenges so you're ready for the big ones?

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for offering wisdom and guidance through Your Word. Help me to listen to Jesus’ words and live them out, so I can be like the wise builder. When I feel overwhelmed or unsure, remind me that You are my foundation and I don’t have to walk in fear. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
