Have you ever felt overwhelmed by all the choices you have to make—school, friends, future plans? Life can feel like standing at a hundred crossroads, each with its own flashing signs and voices pulling you in different directions. Proverbs and Psalms remind us there is a clear path—a wise path.
According to Proverbs 1:7, wisdom begins with honoring and trusting God. And Psalm 1 paints a vivid picture of a person who is rooted in God's Word, growing strong and steady like a tree by a stream. The more time we spend learning from God, the clearer our decisions become and the stronger we grow.

THINK ABOUT IT
1. Wisdom Starts With God: Who are you listening to the most—your friends, social media, or God? Real wisdom begins by putting God first and trusting that His way is best.
2. What Are You Rooted In? Psalm 1 says those who meditate on God’s Word are like trees planted by water. Are you giving God space in your day to grow your faith, or are you just squeezing Him in when it’s convenient?
3. Watch Your Walk: The Psalm warns about walking with the wicked. Who you spend time with shapes your future. Are your friendships helping you grow closer to God or pulling you away?

BOTTOM LINE
Living wisely doesn’t mean having all the answers—it means choosing to trust God and stay rooted in His truth. When you build your life on Him, you won’t be easily shaken.
