“The LORD tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.” — Psalm 11:5
“See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.” — Matthew 24:4–5

Have you ever felt like the world is just getting crazier by the day? Social media, school drama, fake news, wars, disasters—it sometimes feels overwhelming. David, in Psalm 11, looked around and saw wickedness rising, but instead of panicking, he remembered that God still tests hearts and rules with justice. In Matthew 24, Jesus warned His disciples that tough times would come—people pretending to be Him, chaos in the world—but He also told them not to be deceived. Both passages remind us that even when everything feels unstable, God hasn’t lost control. He’s still the anchor when the world feels like it’s spinning out of control.

THINK ABOUT IT
1. Who do you trust? When life gets shaky, where do you run first—friends, social media, or God?
2. Don’t be fooled: Jesus warned that many would be led astray. What helps you stay grounded in truth when the world throws lies your way?
3. Tested but not broken: How can you see challenges as opportunities for God to strengthen your faith instead of reasons to give up?

BOTTOM LINE
No matter how chaotic life feels, God remains steady—and He calls us to stay rooted in His truth.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You that even when the world feels confusing and unstable, You remain firm and faithful. Help me not to be deceived by lies but to stand strong in Your Word. Strengthen my faith when it’s tested, and remind me that You are always in control. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
