“Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways. The one who keeps the law is a son with understanding, but a companion of gluttons shames his father.” — Proverbs 28:6–7
“For the LORD has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his dwelling place: ‘This is my resting place forever; here I will dwell, for I have desired it.’” — Psalm 132:13–14
“So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD… And there has not arisen a prophet since in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face.” — Deuteronomy 34:5,10

Every day, you face pressure to fit in, to chase popularity, or to do whatever it takes to “get ahead.” But God’s Word tells a different story. Proverbs 28:6 says it’s better to be broke but honest than to be rich and shady. Psalm 132 reminds us that God chooses where He wants to dwell—and He chooses hearts that are loyal.
And in Deuteronomy 34, we see the legacy of Moses, a man who didn’t have it all together but stayed close to God to the very end. His story wasn’t about perfection—it was about integrity, obedience, and deep friendship with God. You don’t need to be famous or flawless to make a difference. You just need to stay true to God.

THINK ABOUT IT
1. Integrity Matters: Are you making choices that honor God, even when no one is watching? Remember, God values integrity more than success.
2. God’s Presence is Personal: Psalm 132 shows us that God desires a place to dwell. Is your heart a place He’d want to live?
3. Leave a Legacy: Moses didn’t enter the Promised Land, but he left behind a life of deep impact. What kind of legacy are you building right now?

BOTTOM LINE
You don’t need to have it all to walk tall. Live with integrity, invite God into your daily life, and trust that your faithfulness will leave a legacy.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank You for showing me that character matters more than status. Help me to walk in integrity, to honor You in my choices, and to build a life that reflects Your presence. I want to know You like Moses did and make You at home in my heart. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
