It’s hard not to feel like you’re missing out sometimes. You scroll through social media and see people who don’t care about God living their best lives. They seem free, confident, and like everything is working out for them. Meanwhile, trying to follow Jesus can feel hard and, honestly, kind of invisible. But Proverbs 23 reminds us that there's a deeper story playing out — one where those who trust God have a future full of hope. Psalm 105 urges us to look back and remember all the times God came through for His people.

And Leviticus 25 shows us that God is serious about freedom, restoration, and second chances — the Jubilee year was like a divine reset button! When we’re tempted to envy others or feel like God’s way is slower or harder, these verses remind us: God’s path leads to a lasting kind of freedom and hope that nothing in this world can match.

THINK ABOUT IT

1. What’s Real Freedom? The Jubilee year in Leviticus was all about releasing people from debt and giving them a fresh start. What areas of your life do you wish you could reset? God offers you spiritual freedom and a new beginning through Jesus every day.

2. Don’t Envy, Stay Focused: Proverbs tells us not to envy those who ignore God. Why do you think it’s easy to feel jealous of people who seem to have it all without living for God? What helps you stay focused on your hope in Christ?

3. God’s Track Record: Psalm 105 encourages us to remember what God has done. Take time today to list 2–3 ways God has come through for you or someone you know. How can that reminder give you strength right now?

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, Thank You for giving me a hope that will never be cut off. Help me not to get distracted by what the world calls success or freedom. Remind me of Your faithfulness, and give me the strength to keep trusting You, even when it's hard. Help me walk in the freedom You’ve given me through Jesus. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
