Two of Swords

Welcome to season 8 of this podcast, where I am talking all about the Suit of Swords. I’ll be going through each card in the suit, one per episode.

What we explore in this episode:

In this episode, we explore the Two of Swords as a card that sits at the edge of clarity. It invites us to look at where we’re holding back from choice, not because we don’t know, but because we’re afraid of what choosing might require of us. The blindfold reminds us to trust our intuition when the facts are unclear, and the crossed swords show how we sometimes guard our hearts to delay the inevitable.

We also explore how indecision can be a comfort zone, and how giving yourself permission to “not know yet” can be a sacred act of self-care, but staying there forever? That’s when stagnation can start to creep in.

Today's Tarot Pull:

From The Citadel: A Fantasy Oracleby Fen Inkwright,  I pulled The Scholar in reverse. This card speaks to the futility of overthinking and over-researching when the answer just isn’t there right now. You may be trying to “logic” your way through a situation that requires pause, reflection, or emotional presence instead. Sometimes, it’s not about trying harder, it’s about shifting your energy elsewhere.Reflective prompts on this card:
