Description

🩸 In this episode, I discuss the shame I've personally experienced surrounding my menstrual cycle. I delve into the societal pressures that make us as women hesitant to freely share and express these aspects of their lives, which are, fundamentally, simply a part of our existence being a woman, for fear of being shamed, isolated or rejected. I've had enough and I'm doing my best to no longer subscribe to that fear.

Additionally, I explore the concept of authenticity and how we can sometimes put unnecessary pressure on ourselves to share when we actually don't want to. We've been sold this idea that to be "authentic", you have to bare your soul to the world, when that's simply not true. What we share, who we share with and how we do it, is completely our choice and there's no requirement to bare all to be considered genuine.
