Today, my guest is Gabriel Cruden. Gabriel is a husband,father, and entrepreneur based in Kettle Falls, Washington. Gabriel has spentmost of his adult life working in different aspects of journalism and recentlypurchased the Statesman Examiner. He also runs and publishes The Sun, the DeerPark Tribune, the Huckelberry Press, and the North Columbia monthly. Aside fromworking as a full-time owner/operator, Gabriel is also heavily involved in ourlocal communities, in particular serving as an advisor to many Non-profitorganizations. During our conversation, we touched on Gabriel's early life andupbringing, his journey to college, and his return to Stevens County, whicheventually led to him purchasing the newspaper he used to work for as ateenager. Gabriel is a kind, insightful, well-intentioned person with a strongpassion for building our local community.
