Ryan Ao, interviews Yana Ludwig in this episode 4 of the flip. Yana and Ryan connected in 2007 while both were involved in the intentional/sustainable communities movement. She has an amazingly inspirational story of her struggle with Lyme Disease and yet, after facing her own body pain for the past many years with it, and even facing her own mortality at times, she is now running for US Senator for Wyoming. Her story and platform embrace the phrase "Connecting with Humanity". There is a lot of discussion about using "The Flip" from a new perspective, of not "victim shaming" or saying "what bad happens to you is for a reason", as well as how authentically being yourself is important, especially even in politics and overcoming the stigma of having a weakness like a lifelong health issue.
