Description

Ryan Ao, interviews Sara Pelfry in this episode 7 of the flip. Sara is Ryan's cousin-in-law (if that can be a thing). The flip in her life draws upon her grappling with being duped from childhood, never having learned until recently that her ancestors were colonialist settlers in Idaho where she grew up, that had a hand in displacing the natives on that land. She had to go through years of grief, and guilt, dealing with her wake up call, that she is privileged. Since then she has gone to graduate school in this topic, and become a social change agent for reconciliation related to minorities and underrepresented people's. She offers wisdom and encouragement for how we all, especially white/privileged people, need to be able to find space in our hearts to heal these rifts in our society.   If you want to connect with Sara, she asks you to reach out to the host, Ryan Ao, of AO Productions http://www.ryanao.com, which focuses on Emotion driven story, commercial media that unifies your brand elegance with the human experience.
