After watching George Floyd get choked by an officer for 8 minutes and 46 seconds, while fellow officers watched without intervening, the world erupted in protest. There are hundreds if not thousands of videos like this that have been going up since the Black Lives Matter movement started in earnest in 2013, but when the United States saw this horrific video, where a grown man is be murdered on the street while calling out to his dead mother, many of us decided enough was enough. Join Brad with special guests RamBunxious (Pick Apart the Passion Podcast), Lil Guillotine (The Lil Guillotine Podcast), and Cruz Rodriguez (activist that has been on the ground in Minneapolis since it started) as we discuss what we've seen at the protests in the last few weeks and talk about what the next steps could be for the movement (like maybe abolish ICE...?)
