I explain how fairytales give children expectations that life will consist of one struggle, and will be followed by living happily ever after. When the happily ever after does not occur, people try to become happy in the wrong ways through money, popularity, and appearance. I explained this idea with examples from my own life about bumpy ponytails and Ugg boots.
