Description

On December 8, 1980, one of the most famous and prolific musicians of a generation, John Lennon, 40, was gunned down in front of the Dakota building, which housed his Upper West Side apartment in the adopted city that he loved, where he could walk around freely without getting bombarded by fans. However, one mentally unstable anddisillusioned fan, Mark David Chapman, 25, who had been planning John’s murder for months, finally completed his mission.
