With the bodies of her mother, Elizabeth, and sister, Katie, upstairs, Kim Edwards watched the Twilight movies with her boyfriend Lucas Markham, reveling in their unobstructed relationship before police came to arrest them. Having long been jealous of her mother and sister’s close relationship, Kim wanted revenge for how her mother had treated her, and getting Lucas to kill Elizabeth for her was hardly difficult.
