Welcome to Lights, Camera, Remake, where we try to answer the question “ has Hollywood has truly run out of ideas?”
How about those live action Disney remakes? Well before we get there, let’s start with the movie that started it all. Disney’s fame and box office domination included.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
Exiled into the dangerous forest by her wicked stepmother, a princess is rescued by seven dwarf miners who make her part of their household.
Please excuse our sound in this episode, we filmed in an echoey space.

On each episode we’ll look at a movie and its remake, or sometimes a movie and its sequel, to determine if Hollywood rehashed it for a reason or for a cash grab.
