The Bonnies is going to put on one of those shows you remember forever. Based on the absurdist 1966 Czech New Wave film, Daisies (Daisies Trailer) which I have not seen but will watch on one of the streaming services that I happen to have. It’s showing at the Northwest Film Forum on February 18th and 19th but I can’t make it those days. I’ll definitely be here: I’m on Fire, You’re on Fire, We’re on Fire
I’ve been building mixes designed for running and I found that Hot Chip’s cover of “Dancing in the Dark” is a great first song. This is an example of what I’m looking for in a cover. It’s a different, unique take on an existing great song. This video is fun. The music starts a minute in: Hot Chip - Dancing in the Dark. Hot Chip is playing at the Nectar Lounge in Seattle on February 26th.
