Acts 14 of the New International Version recounts the missionary journey of Paul and Barnabas. Initially successful in Iconium, their preaching faced opposition from unbelieving Jews, leading to a division among the populace. They then travelled to Lystra, where a miraculous healing led some to believe they were gods, an assertion they vehemently refuted. Subsequently, hostile individuals instigated an attack, stoning Paul. Despite these challenges, they continued their travels, strengthening new believers and establishing church leadership before returning to Antioch to report on their work among the Gentiles.
