Acts chapter 21 of the New International Version (NIV) Bible describes Paul's journey to Jerusalem. It recounts his travels and encounters with believers who warn him about going to Jerusalem, including a prophet who predicts his arrest. Despite these warnings, Paul remains determined to face whatever awaits him there for the sake of his faith. Upon arrival in Jerusalem, Paul attempts to satisfy concerns from some Jewish believers by participating in purification rites, but he is eventually arrested by a mob in the temple and is rescued by Roman soldiers who take him into custody.
