Join Comuni[Datos] NYC as we come together to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month!In the U.S., Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15 to October 15 - a month to honor and recognize the diverse cultures, history, and contributions of the Hispanic and Latino community. We’re excited to celebrate and raise these voices within our own data community.The first voice we want to raise is yours! 🌟 When you arrive, we’ll kick things off with a short interactive survey to get to know our comunidad better and celebrate the diversity in the room.Next, we’ll highlight the voice of our co-leader Brenda Chavez, who will share her Hispanic Heritage Month visualization that earned a #VizOfTheDay recognition last year.Finally, we’re honored to hear from our three panelists Caryl Marie Perez, Cristian Saavedra, and Yamil Medina. They’ll share their journeys as Hispanic professionals in data, reflecting on their experiences, challenges, and what representation means to them.
