With back-to-school season upon us, I wanted to take some time to reflect on why it’s so important to consider all your options first when applying to university/college or taking a gap year.
I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to figure out my opinions on all this but perhaps because so much has changed in the past few years that still such a strong emphasis on formal education as the only way to be successful seems severe. And that what once worked for us in terms of getting your education is just no longer rational nor productive.
