We're back from our break and for this week's episode we thought we'd bring you the first runner up to our viewer poll and it also happens to be one Shane's favorite movies. We're talking the 1995 cyberpunk-ish wonderland Hackers. The movie has hyper stylized visuals to match with a hardcore electronic soundtrack that perfectly encapsulate that era of the 90s. Not to mention Angelina Jolie and Matthew Lillard in early roles and several other notable actors. The movie catches a lot of flack for not being an accurate look at hacking, and it certainly won't teach you how not to be hacked, but it is a fun ride from start to finish.
Our beer for the week was Electric Glow, a fruited sour by Rhinegeist Brewery. It seemed fitting as we watched the escapades of these hackers behind their computer screens electric glow. It also happened to be an amazing beer with hints of cherry, that little bit of sour taste and a truly unique color that would have fit right in with the aesthetic of the movie.
