God waited 4,000 years to send Jesus because everything operates according to the divine principle of seed, time, and harvest. When humanity fell, authority was legally transferred to Satan, and God had to work within this framework. Over those millennia, God prompted prophets to speak words about the coming Messiah - each prophecy was like planting a spiritual seed. Mary received these accumulated prophetic seeds when the Holy Spirit planted the incorruptible seed in her womb, and Jesus became the Word made flesh. This same principle operates today as God plants His word in our souls to bring forth spiritual transformation.
