Many believers exhaust themselves trying to earn God's favor through good works and religious performance. The law was never meant to provide a path to God but to show us our need for Christ. Abraham's righteousness came through faith, not works—he simply believed God. Christ has already exchanged our sin for His righteousness, securing every blessing for us. We don't work to earn God's favor; we rest in what Christ has already accomplished. True spiritual life comes through relationship with God, not religious activity.
