These strongholds form when we rationalize away God's truth with human logic, just as Peter did when he rebuked Jesus after receiving divine revelation. Many Christians unknowingly feed these strongholds through entertainment, news, and social media filled with strife and confusion. The solution involves taking every thought captive to Christ's obedience by turning to God's Word, separating from sources of confusion, and creating quiet space with the Holy Spirit. Before exercising spiritual authority, believers must first address the condition of their souls by removing these mental barriers to God's truth.
