Description

Want to know why you (or your child) feel like you're staring down a lion when you're actually facing an upcoming test or presentation? Don't panic! In this episode, David and L invite Lindsay Cohen, a graduate student of psychology at Widener University and Junior Girls Supervisor at Camp Kweebec, to guide them through the weeds of anxiety. They discuss how the body and brain respond to threats, when fear is useful vs. when fear is maladaptive, and how students and their caretakers can learn to accept and process anxiety in healthy ways in order to build resilience.
